Shipping Policy
At Sweetlord, we take great care to ensure that your candy arrives in perfect condition. However, due to the nature of our products, we are unable to offer refunds for melted candy. We do recommend adding ice packs to your order to help protect your candy during shipping, but please note that even with ice packs, we cannot guarantee that your candy will not melt. Typically, ice packs will last for up to 24 hours.
To further protect your candy, we recommend having someone available at your delivery location to receive your package, or having it delivered to an office where it will not be left outside. During the summer months, we do not ship meltable products on Thursdays or Fridays to minimize the risk of melting during transit.

At this time, we only ship to addresses within the United States, excluding Hawaii and Alaska. However, if your order is over $100, we may be able to make an exception for shipping to Hawaii and Alaska. You can expect to receive your order within 1-5 business days after it has been shipped. Our efficient shipping process ensures that your order will be delivered to you promptly and in excellent condition.
Please note: During the warm summer months, if your order includes meltable items and is scheduled to ship on a Friday, we may hold your order until the following Monday in order to reduce the likelihood of your candy melting during transit. This is to ensure that your candy does not spend an extended period of time in a non-temperature controlled environment, such as a mail carrier’s truck. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we want to ensure that your candy arrives in perfect condition.
At Sweetlord, we take great care to package and ship your candy in a way that minimizes the risk of damage or loss during transit. However, once your order leaves our warehouse, it is under the control of the mail carrier and we cannot be held responsible for any issues that may arise. If your candy is stolen, damaged, or lost, you must file a claim with the delivery service. We will assist you with any claims for packages that are lost by the delivery company, but we cannot be held responsible for issues that are beyond our control.
Please note that during transit, some of your candy may break. This is simply the nature of shipping and cannot be avoided. We are not responsible for broken candy and cannot offer refunds for this reason. Additionally, we are unable to offer refunds for candy that has been exposed to the elements or is otherwise no longer in its original condition.
It is important to provide us with a correct and complete shipping address to ensure that your candy is delivered to the right location. If you provide us with an incorrect address or if the package is returned to us marked “address unknown” or “package unclaimed,” we will not be able to refund you for your order. Please be sure to provide us with a delivery address where you know you will be able to accept your package, such as your office or home where a household member will be present to receive it. Leaving your candy on your doorstep without someone there to accept it is not a good idea.
